Mika is one of the most sought after experts in the mobile game industry with a great deal of expertise that includes mobile video advertising, marketing and monetization of mobile game apps. He acts as an advisor and investor who focuses on assisting companies whose technology positively impacts companies in the mobile games industry while helping the companies he advises to grow.
As Chief Revenue Officer at Outfit7, (acquired for €1 Billion), which started with a single app in 2010 and evolved into one of the the leading mobile game companies, Mika oversaw all revenue streams of Outfit7 until he left in mid 2016.
In 2015, Mika was listed as one of the Top 10 App Video Advertising Experts in the Business of Apps. The focus of the article centered on Video advertising, “one of the fastest growing sectors in the mobile advertising industry.”
A Case Study published at the time highlighted the power of using video ads in free to play games like Crossy Road, making $1m in three months from video ads alone through the use of the Unity’s video ad technology, a service acquired and integrated into Unity’s Game Engine.
Highly respected in the mobile industry, Mika left leading mobile game development platform, Unity to join Outfit7. While at Unity, Mika lead global business development for Unity Ads, which under his leadership grew to be one the biggest video ad network for games. Mika joined Unity when Applifier was acquired.
In the 15 years prior to that, Mika worked with mobile developers in the entertainment and app sectors, earning a reputation for outstanding results and driving growth.
